David L. Weber Community Garden
In 2020, United Way of the Titusville Region announced the development of the David L. Weber Memorial Community Garden. Mr. Weber was a beloved member of the community and a local historian. He always liked the idea of having a community garden and would often talk about the “Victory Garden” during WWII and how it benefited the community.
After his passing, United Way, with the help of the City of Titusville, decided to make his dream a reality and created a garden located on Central Avenue. After many hours, and an intensive group effort, the lot was prepared and a mural was painted in his memory.
Groups, and individuals, may adopt a bed to plant and take care of. To learn more, or adopt a bed call the United Way office at 814-827-1322.
