The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program provides low and moderate-income individuals with free, reliable assistance in filing their federal tax returns.

The VITA program for 2024 is open and is now scheduling appointments starting January 31st. Appointments are made on a first-come first-serve basis for qualifying individuals.

In 2023, United Way of the Titusville Region’s VITA program served 242 local residents, saving them roughly $48,400 in filing fees. *$200 per application.
